Outdoor watercolors and drawings

I keep a few notebooks going, with watercolors and drawings. I'm usually not concerned with finishing them, but they're useful learning tools and/or references. They're also a good travelogue and pointer to the memory. I think the process of looking at and interpreting a scene helps to solidify the memory of the day and the site in a tangible way. I also take images and use them in finishing some pieces later.
